The RPG-7 (Ruchnoy Protivotankovy Granatomyot) is a portable, recoilless rocket-propelled grenade launcher developed by the Soviet Union. It is one of the most iconic and widely used anti-tank weapons in the world.

Features:

Purpose: Designed for engaging armored vehicles, fortified positions, and infantry.

Caliber: Launcher tube is 40 mm, but grenades are larger due to their rocket motor.

Operation: The RPG-7 works on a recoilless system. A propellant launches the grenade from the tube, and the rocket motor ignites shortly after for increased speed and range.

Effective Range: 200–500 meters, depending on the target and ammunition type.

Weight: Approximately 7 kg unloaded, making it portable and easy to use.

Ammunition Types:

HEAT (High-Explosive Anti-Tank): Designed to penetrate armored vehicles.

Fragmentation Grenades: Effective against personnel and unarmored targets.
