Daily Bible Reading and Devotional: 61 Days reading through Mark 01-17-2025

Thank you for watching today’s installment for Friday January 17, 2025, day 9 of our 61 Days studying through Mark’s Gospel. Today’s reading is from 3:7-19.

By now, the crowds are regarding Jesus as a miracle worker based on what they have heard about the healings and casting out of demonic spirits. They are interested in what he can do for them on that level and also are up for a show in seeing Him perform miracles, so they’ve jumped on his bandwagon.

To put it in modern terms, Jesus needs to train apprentices to represent Him and preach the gospel after His departure. He chose twelve of His followers for that job and the twelve He chose were an unlikely bunch.
