Objectivity - is the concept of truth independent from individual subjectivity (bias caused by one's perception, emotions, or imagination & preferences)

A proposition is considered to have objective truth when its truth conditions are met without bias caused by a sentient subject.

Scientific objectivity refers to the ability to judge without partiality or external influence.

Objectivity in the moral framework calls for moral codes to be assessed based on the well-being of the people in the society that follow it. Moral objectivity also calls for moral codes to be compared to one another through a set of universal facts & not through subjectivity.

Critical thinking - is the analysis of available facts, evidence, observations & arguments to form a judgement. The subject is complex; several different definitions exist, which generally include the rational, skeptical & unbiased analysis or evaluation of factual evidence.

Critical thinking is self-directed, self-disciplined, self-monitored & self-corrective thinking.

It presupposes assent to rigorous standards of excellence & mindful command of their use. It entails effective communication & problem-solving abilities as well as a commitment to overcome native egocentrism & socio-centrism.

egocentrism - is the inability to differentiate between self & other. More specifically, it is the inability to untangle subjective schemas from objective reality & an inability to understand or assume any perspective other than one's own.

socio-centrism - occurs when a person puts the needs & concerns of a social group ahead of his or her own needs & concerns. Together, these words create the basis for socio-centrism: society at the center.

Traditionally, critical thinking has been variously defined as follows: "The intellectually disciplined process of actively & skillfully conceptualizing, applying, analyzing, synthesizing, &/or evaluating information gathered from, or generated by, observation, experience, reflection, reasoning, or communication, as a guide to belief & action."
Disciplined thinking that is clear, rational, open-minded & informed by evidence
Purposeful, self-regulatory judgment which results in interpretation, analysis, evaluation & inference, as well as explanation of the evidential, conceptual, methodological, criterio-logical, or contextual considerations upon which that judgment is based
Thinking about one's thinking in a manner designed to organize & clarify, raise the efficiency of, & recognize errors & biases in one's own thinking.

A renegade is a person who has deserted their cause or defied convention; they're rebels & sometimes outlaws, or even traitors. - is a person who abandons the religious, political or philosophical beliefs that he or she used to have & accepts opposing or different beliefs.

individualistic: characterized by individualism; independent & self-reliant - prioritizing the pursuit of individual interests or rights rather than common or collective ones, while not being at the expense of others - a social theory favoring freedom of action for individuals over collective or state control
