Expected Imprisonment

In this midweek lesson, covering Isaiah's proclamation of "the opening of the prison to them that are bound" in Isaiah 61:1, we look at why the Christian should be prepared for the possibility that he might face imprisonment and abuse in this life for the sake of our Lord Jesus Christ and His Gospel. We first see the expected imprisonment and suffering that the Christian might face. Then, we see the promised liberty that our Lord will one day give the Christian.
