According to the court, Zachary Young was defamed by CNN as an “illegal profiteer” when they said he charged Afghan evacuees thousands of dollars to leave the country.

That ridiculous report was first shared on Jake Tapper’s show. That's where the network claimed the operation took place on the “black market” and had “no guarantee of safety or success.”

BIG MONEY WIN: According to the jury, Young is owed $4 million in financial damages and $1 million in emotional damages. He is also owed punitive damages.
