Live report of the demonstration in Belgrade Serbia against the PTC/RTS on 17-1-2025.
Following the biased reporting on Serbian national radio and television about the protests that take place daily throughout the country in response to the tragic collapse of a canopy at the train station in Novi Sad in which 15 innocent people, including children, lost their lives, tens of thousands of Serbs went to the capital to demonstrate at the headquarters of the PTC/RTS. With banners and a lot of noise and an impressive 15 minutes of silence for the fatal victims of this tragedy, these people showed that they will not take it anymore. The direct reason was the reporting about the student who was hit by a car in Novi Sad the day before and seriously injured. The perpetrator drove into the peaceful demonstrators out of dissatisfaction with the demonstration.
