Dallas JBS hosts J. Christopher Byrd re: TEXAS GOLD & SILVER DEPOSITORY

Speaker: Mr. J. Christopher (“Chris”) Byrd; our guest speaker for the month of January, Mr. Chris Byrd from Spring Branch, Texas. He will discuss the establishment of the Texas Gold & Silver Depository and the legislation he is promoting in the Texas 2025 legislature session to expand the workings of the Depository for use by Texans and authorize the issuing of Gold & Silver coinage as legal tender in Texas. He will have a Q & A session at the end of his presentation. He brings a wealth of knowledge and professional experience to this matter. His career has included time as a National Bank Examiner, Trial Attorney, CPA, Oil and Gas Producer and serves as the Texas Counsel for the Center for Public Policy. He is a cum laude graduate of Oklahoma Christian and Texas Tech University where he received his degrees.
