Matt Doocey National MP Conversion Practices Prohibition Legislation Bill - 2nd Reading, 08/02/2022

In 2022 the Conversion Practices Prohibition Legislation Bill was passed through the New Zealand Parliament.
At the Second Reading, National MP Matt Doocey spoke in favour of this bill, which has effectively stopped parents, caregivers, counsellors, therapists, pastors from helping children who are confused about their gender identity, to be happy with their born sex.
In other countries, parents have been criminally charged for disagreeing with a diagnosis of 'being born in the wrong body'.
Could this happen in New Zealand? It's possible, with this Bill.
