A rare bird was visually identified by fighters of the air defense system of the 3rd Army Corps. At first, observers did not understand what kind of "fruit" it was. But eventually, in the unusual silhouette in the sky over the outskirts of Gorlovka, they identified a German reconnaissance drone Vector. Not a frequent guest in front-line reports.

Berlin supplies these drones from the German company Quantum-Systems GmbH for the needs of the Ukrainian Main Intelligence Directorate. It is almost impossible to hear them. And neither catapults nor launchers are needed for launch. The fact is that the aircraft-type UAV can take off like a helicopter, like a regular copter. The wingspan is almost three meters. Flight time is about two hours. Both day and night, it is capable of recognizing targets and transmitting information in encrypted form over a distance of 15-25 kilometers.

But this did not help it escape from the anti-aircraft gunners of the 3rd Army Corps. The target was destroyed at an altitude of 2000 meters by a BUK M1 anti-aircraft missile system.

As a result of the destruction of the Vector UAV, the enemy lost the ability to control today's artillery strikes on Gorlovka and their subsequent adjustment.
