East - West Narratives

Point of reference is essential to understanding of concepts, especially in regard to opinions formulated of those living in distant lands and with different cultural backgrounds. In our era, with electronic access to information in every corner of the world, you might expect that people would be able to avoid misconceptions and errant conclusions. But we also must be aware of antagonistic forces in our own homeland that work very hard to block that access and substitute their desired narrative for the real status of thought and intent in other lands.
