Learning to Wait on the Lord

Sermon on Psalm 27 - Rev. Ken Smith - Lords Day January 19th, 2025 - Trinity Reformed Church

Psalms 27:14 (NKJV) Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!

We need to learn to wait on the Lord. God is init delayed gratification. Not instant gratification. Take every thought captive. We have to change the way we think about gratification.

There are many vices in life which only offer instant gratification but aren't the solution. We need to wait on the Lord.

Lamentations 3:25 (NKJV) The LORD [is] good to those who wait for Him, To the soul [who] seeks Him.
