Safety Training held in Kalkaska

While many students had the day off Monday, teachers, staff and school resource officers met for safety training. The goal was to understand next steps when preventing or responding to safety concerns or violent acts. The program emphasized the need for schools and law enforcement to be on the same page by speaking the same language.
