The level of cognitive dissonance on display is truly remarkable. It's astounding to witness so many people casually overlooking some of the most glaringly obvious realities they've experienced in recent years.

It's as if they've somehow convinced themselves that being imprisoned for life, or watching others receive decades-long sentences for crimes they didn't physically commit, is no big deal. As if we haven't seen the racketeering act used to prosecute the very same tactics and behaviors time and time again.

The decision to simply do away with the border crossing tracking application cements this willful blindness - not just among those who were foolish enough to keep using it, but more importantly, those who were actively leveraging the very tool meant to monitor their activities.

And let's not forget the federal workers who bravely refused to participate in the coerced "rape" of their own bodily autonomy, only to now be welcomed back into the fold, as if the past 6 years of hell they endured didn't profoundly impact their lives. The abusers who perpetrated this travesty face zero consequences, yet we're expected to believe these victims will somehow trust their tormentors and willingly return to the fold.

It's a level of captured, utterly misguided, immoral, unjust, and diabolical Stockholm syndrome that's truly remarkable to witness - even among those we might have expected to possess a higher degree of intelligence and discernment.

Truly remarkable, and deeply troubling, to behold such flagrant disregard for truth and reality.
