President Trump announced a $500 billion investment in artificial intelligence (AI) during remarks at the White House. The president was joined by tech industry CEOs - Larry Ellison from Oracle, Sam Altman from Open AI, and Masayoshi Son from SoftBank - for the announcement of the creation of an AI infrastructure venture called "Stargate." Following his remarks, the president took several questions from the press, including several on his recent pardons of January 6th defendants. When asked about the pardons, he said, " These people have already served a long period of time and I made a decision to give a pardon. Joe Biden gave a pardon yesterday to a lot of criminals...you should be asking that question."
