B576 – Jan 19, 2025 Plague of Selfishness

In this Berean Bible study, we look at the problem with lawless behavior all around us in the world, and the reason why some people stop caring for others and looking out for the needy, the way Yeshua commands.

God’s Word tells believers that lawlessness and rebellion will abound before Yeshua returns at the end of this age. The love of many believers will grow cold and the assignment to be the hands and feet of Yeshua will go by the wayside, due to great fear and anxiousness in their lives.

Believers have a hope in Yeshua and in His return, and do not have to live in fear and uncertainty the way the world operates; by living their lives without a relationship with God. The world is living without hope, peace, and joy, and dealing with those deficits will cause them to look inward and to just focus on today and on the right now needs in their lives.

Unless you are trusting Yehovah for your future and looking forward to His Promises, you will not be able to serve others and be the type of caring, selfless, disciple that Yeshua is looking to use in His Harvest. Believers should have a testimony that does not include fear and stress, and trusting in God’s Provision will help them look and act differently; set apart from the selfish world we see today.

Trust in Yehovah with all of your heart and do not trust in your own abilities. Cry out to Yeshua and accept His free gift of redemption for your life and be filled with the Holy Spirit of Yehovah. Trust in the Plan that will never fail!
