I Finished Last. But I Did Well?!?

So, to be hones, I finished this match in last place!! But, I did well, especially considering the conditions! There ended up only being 5 people show up for this match, and I finished in 5th, lol. So, definitely not my best performance on this. But, I was much more concerned with just surviving the day with my hands still attached to my arms! It was around 20 degrees. The wind chill was 9 to 17 for the most of the day. Amazing how warm 20 degrees will feel after being outside in 10 degrees for a while, lol.
I messed up early and tried to shoot the first stage with no glove on my right hand. That was not smart. I ended up getting warmed back up and put on a latex glove and then kept my right hand in a heated glove the rest of the day. I could still feel my trigger and adjust my scope with the latex glove. And it doesn't breathe, so my body heat stayed in my body!

I missed filming the first 2 stages with my main camera. It was so cold it wouldn't write to the SD card! Got some footage by the 3rd stage.
I talk about all the things I did really poorly on and I honestly should have prepared better. I really do not like the short days! I am missing all my time in the evenings to check zero, verify at distance and things like that I tend to do in the summer. So, bad preparations and miserable weather resulted in my current worse finish for this year.

I do have some new glasses coming in to try at next months' match! I am going to test those Hunter's HD Gold lenses and see if they can help me find targets. The next match will be back at the range that I struggled to find the targets at in December. Looks like this year will be only 2 ranges for the remainder of the year.
