Secretary of State Marco Rubio is Grateful to "Almighty God"

On Tuesday, January 21, 2025, Vice President Vance swore in Marco Rubio as secretary of state at a ceremony in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building Secretary.

In his remarks after taking the oath of office, Secretary Rubio delivered brief remarks - thanking "Almighty God and my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. That is truly the singular purpose of our lives. It is the most important priority. It is the only thing that will matter when we take our last breath on this earth. But this is an extraordinary opportunity that would have not been possible without God's blessings..."

Secretary Rubio also thanked God in Spanish.

Secretary Rubio also talked about the job ahead and implementing the Trump administration's foreign policy.
