James Gunn's latest canon update confirms that a Superman moment from the DCEU likely never happened in the DCU. The DCU has officially started, with Creature Commandos recently finishing its first season on Max. While the DCEU no longer exists, Gunn's DCU isn't a complete reset of the universe.
