Behind him as he spoke were 8 American Flags without the gold fringe on them. Gold fringe USA flags are “Admiralty flags” conspicuous by their absence. The number 8 can at times be used to signify destruction.

Also, found it interesting that the 75th Anniversary logo in front of the stage somewhat looked like the handicap wheelchair symbol. As indeed someone quipped when Sleepy Joe spoke. Humorous indeed.
