Are the gospels containing and fulfilling prophecies Jesus did true and not made up by christians ?

Today we go over about in the bible how when Jesus fulfills these old testament prophecies and gives new prophecies how do we know they were not made up years later and were made to fit something that wasn’t true. when we look at the accounts of once certain events took place, we see that it’s clear that some of the gospels were written earlier when these events didn’t happen so that the later writers when these events happen could record it and during that lifetime, these eyewitnesses and people who experience these things were still alive so they were not able to make things up, especially when they name people‘s names and the locations in the amount of comfort that came into Christianity
