Saturday Studies 2nd Corinthians 8 (Giving) 1-25-2025

2nd Corinthians chapters 8 and 9 deal with Paul's teaching on giving. We look at chapter 8 today. Here we learn three things about what Paul spoke of the giving by the people of Macedonia:
They gave according to their ability
They gave beyond their ability (meaning sacrificially)
They gave willingly
Paul also presents Christ as our supreme example in giving.
We also discuss mandatory giving and free-will giving in every age or dispensation and what it looks like for our dispensation, the Church Age.
