"There is a hidden cause of everything we perceive. Remember Lesson 15 telling us that our thoughts appear in the form of perceptual images? The current lesson tells us the kind of thoughts that make up those images. It says,

Each of your perceptions of “external reality” is a pictorial representation of your own attack thoughts. [CE W-23.3:2]
