US President Donald Trump’s National Emergency executive order at the Southern Border is already taking effect. The US-Mexico border has been shut down, the CBP One App, launched by former President Joe Biden has been shut down, and border patrol agents are also setting up buoy barriers on the Rio Grande River to prevent illegal crossings. Meanwhile, India has reportedly agreed to take back 18,000 illegal migrants from the US, which comes after US Secretary of State Marco Rubio met Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, making it the first high-level bilateral for the Secretary of State. The United States and India share a strategic partnership, and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Trump often refer to each other as “Dear Friends.”
