Some Christmas trees and holiday lights are still adorning homes even in the happiest municipality in America, where only 32% profess any religious affiliation, and after one Washington pastor had departed from the regularly scheduled programming to deliver an emergency broadcast to the newest occupant of the White House, lights in the sky from mysterious drones have been displaced on social media by, of all things, just as conservative evangelicals had prophesied, a revival within the Christian religious faith, at least on social media, where one internationally notorious porn tab guy, at least in the most educated municipality is “qui tam pro domino rege”, there on behalf of our lord, the king, so large in footprint on the worldwide web, just the mention of his name in a Boolean query continues for pages, while his Substack account is so captivating, as his former account on Twitter had been, before his international notoriety, capturing followers from celebrity “blue dot” accounts, his posts have become his own “echo chamber”, returning regular Google alerts. However, this is just a school board race, and not a national issue. “For every action,” at least science says.

“Well, Howard, as you know, our election officials are still busy at work trying to determine the extent of vaccine injury, normal neurological functioning and long covid that has impacted our affluent community, and I just ask our religious faith leaders to please keep them in prayer. Thy will be done. We had been such a cohesive community, in indivisible Arlington, but something is happening in this world, and a house divided against itself simply cannot stand itself. Just look at our once collegial and now frought with toxicity school board. When at least four White people cannot come to agreement, you know the world is going to Hell. I don’t believe that even Reverend King, of ‘When God speaks, who can but listen’ fame, could have prophesied that in a progressive community like Arlington we would not be able to locate even one Black person qualified, ready, willing and able to bring some of Joe Biden’s Black Church old time religion and transforming powers of prayer to calm the storms raging just on our elected school board. Carest thou not that we perish? I may have to call upon my pastor in our evangelical White Christian church to start piling up some of those prayer stones at the Syphax Board of Education, where we don’t even see Black History expert Craig Syphax running for school board,” remarked Major Mike Webb.

Your elected representative is called your elected representative for a reason; and Martin Luther King and Jesus never got elected.
