Rockefeller's Fossil Fuel Hoax

This has been available information for a very long time. Geologists have known that hydrocarbons are produced in the asthenosphere for decades. The process has even been duplicated in laboratory experiments. It is a simple reaction between calcium carbonate (think limestone) and methane. The entire hoax was a scheme to fix pricing worldwide, instead of the disparity of prices that existed in the early 20th century. It was the illusion of scarcity to drive prices up and keep them up.
