The 14th Amendment Does NOT Grant Birthright Citizenship To Foreigners

The purpose of the 14th Amendment was to protect the Rights of newly freed slaves and end the persecution they were facing from Southern Democrats. It was never meant to be applied to foreigners, and that is reflected in the inclusion of the words "... and subject to the jurisdiction thereof," in the 14th Amendment.
