John Cage's Scottish Circus!

Celebrating our 40 year project resulting in the Mode Records films of 'Scottish Circus' & group version of 4'33'' - The Whistlebinkies & friends were hosted by the Scottish Music Centre on Wednesday evening! (January 22 2025). Left-Right: Stuart Eydmann, Mark Hayward, Mark Turnbull, Eddie McGuire, Yulu Wang & mum, Karen Marshalsay & Des McGuire. NOTE: Under John Cage's direction we performed a 'happening' at the Fruitmarket Gallery in September 1984 (See cover photo). We commissioned him to turn it into a published piece (Peters Edition) in September 1990 for Musica Nova. Mode Records filmed us playing it in 2007. Launching in 2025!
