As required by government (they don't even have a choice!), banks have to report every transaction above $10k, or even transactions that are just under #10k, comply with privacy-violating Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements that are a major cybersecurity threat, report customers based on numerous "red flags," and all of that results in tens of thousands of innocent people each day treated as potential criminals.
