Powdery tobacco cologne from Dossier review

In my latest YouTube review, I dive into my experience with Dossier's Powdery Tobacco cologne, which is marketed as a dupe of Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille. I chose this fragrance not just for its inspiration but because I was on the hunt for a nice tobacco-based scent. Unfortunately, I was left disappointed; the fragrance had an unpleasantly acidic sweetness that completely overwhelmed any hints of tobacco or vanilla.

I was really hoping for that smooth, rich aroma you get from a fine cigar, but instead, I found the scent to be overly synthetic and almost chemical. While I do appreciate the packaging—especially the magnetic cap and the atomizer—the fragrance itself just didn’t deliver. It was a significant letdown, failing to capture the warmth and complexity that I associate with tobacco colognes.

On a brighter note, I had a better experience with two other Dossier fragrances that I plan to review soon. Thankfully, Dossier has a robust return policy, so I was able to return Powdery Tobacco for a refund. If you’re looking for a pleasant, tobacco-inspired scent, I would steer clear of this one; it really didn’t meet my expectations at all.
