Coast Guard trains in winter weather

Despite the bitter cold and snowy weather, U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Traverse City spent some time in rescue mission training. Last week, Air Station crews, including rescue swimmers and flight crews, improved their skills in confined area landing zones. The Coast Guard says the crews practiced using the rescue litter basket, while in a challenging snow environment to make sure that they're always ready for any mission.
