DEI hire is the new N-word

What do you think when you hear the term DEI hire? More importantly, who do you think of? Who, in your mind is a DEI hire? More than likely, you've thought of black people, LGBTQIA members, a Muslim, definitely an immigrant. Very rarely, if ever, do people refer to white men is DEI hires.
