'Cross Trump at your own peril'_ Colombian President backs down on deportation flights

Just days into his presidency, Donald Trump has already demonstrated why world leaders cross him at their peril, says Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

Mr Bolt's remarks come after Colombian President Gustavo Petro backed down on accepting flights carrying deported migrants from the US after Donald Trump threatened tariffs and sanctions on the South American nation if it refused to cooperate.

On Sunday, the US President said he would impose tariffs and sanctions on Colombia after the country turned away two US military aircraft as part of the new Trump administration's immigration crackdown.
