Life at the Salvation Army Kerr Street: A Kindergarten for Older Adults

When I moved into the Salvation Army Southview Heights on March 1, 2021,

I quickly discovered that living here comes with its unique set of challenges.

This place has even earned the nickname “kindergarten for older adults”—and let me tell you, it lives up to the name in ways you wouldn’t believe.

That’s why I’ve decided to start documenting my experiences at the Salvation Army Kerr Street in Vancouver.

Life here is so absurd, it’s funny—and too good not to share!
