Project ‘Hero from the Future’ - Andrey Kovalyov

He returned from the front without a leg, but with a desire to live and build the future of the country. Andrey Kovalyov, a veteran of the Special Military Operation, is the head of the Donetsk branch of the Russian Union of Veterans of Afghanistan and Special Military Operation, and is the first participant in the ‘Hero from the Future’ project, which tells the story of soldiers of the Special Military Operation who have already returned to civilian life.

Andrey Kovalyov is engaged in socialisation of veterans, including those with disabilities, children with disabilities, is active in educational activities among children and youth of the republic, as well as in building a barrier-free society.
