DISNEY’S Future Plans Hinge on SNOW WHITE | FROZEN 3 and REY Movie Targeted

Disney is supposedly taking a wait-and-see approach to the success or failure of their upcoming live-action remake, Snow White, before moving forward with other female led films.

Frozen 3 and the Star Wars movie following Rey are supposedly in the pipeline, but Disney doesn’t want to devote too much time on them before gauging whether or not audiences are interested in a girlboss movie. Disney has shown in the recent past that they are willing to cut political messaging if it means more profit. However, the executives behind Frozen 3 and Star Wars are true believers in the feminist ideology. It’s likely Disney can’t just cut the two film’s messaging at this time, but they may find it easier to justify such if Snow White is a huge failure.
