Let's first sort out, what is "in the public" vs...
What is "in the private"?

When you enjoin in anything with the government agencies, you have joined the ranks of "in the public".

Driver's license.
State ID.
Birth Certificate.
Social Security card.

By the way, they own all those.
They simply give you USARY of them.

You have a first amendment right to be IN THE PRIVATE.
You have no obligation to answer to the government.
You have a 4th amendment right to be secure in your papers.

But, you have to navigate life.
There are times you need to ID.

Check into a hotel.
Pick up a prescription.
Pick up a delivery.
Be served adult beverages.
Purchase items where you have to be of age.

So while everyone is freaking out, thinking they need to "REAL ID" COMPLY...
You skipped the details of that.

That only pertains to using your driver's license as an ID, which you have no obligation to do.
