Mike Benz, executive director of the Foundation for Freedom Online, says that while he only trusts social media moguls like Meta's Mark Zuckerberg “as far as he can throw them,” he’s hopeful that the Trump administration has the means to hold them accountable for censorship operations. “The simple ability to modify the incentives by creating good government structures is probably the strongest asset at our disposal,” he notes.
