Filmmaker David Lynch is on a quest to have a million children meditating around the world...and he's getting a little help from his friends; Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Mike Love and Donovan.

Peace Rising takes you on a journey to the "David Lynch Weekend" in the small town of Fairfield, Iowa where most of the population meditates twice a day.

David, Donovan and Moby are attending the Senior Prom for students at the Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment, where David will crown the Prom King and Queen.

Meet some of the amazing students, ages 5 through 18 - who attend the school where boys and girls meditate separately, twice a day.

From Iowa, it's on to Radio City Music Hall where the David Lynch Foundation is hosting a fundraiser for meditation in schools. David is joined by his meditating friends including Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Moby, Donovan and Mike Love - all of whom want a more peaceful world through meditation.
