🏳️ Captured AFU serviceman: untrained personnel sent as cannon fodder

28.01.25 Captured Ukrainian serviceman Aleksei Babenko said he was sent to the border area of Kursk region. Due to a lack of personnel, he was transferred from a security detachment to a combat detachment.

'I guarded a ZiL vehicle. It was loaded with company ammunition and located near Goncharovka. I stayed near it in the forest belt. I guarded it until November. Then it was said that due to a lack of personnel, I would be sent to the positions of our servicemen for a shift, and would be there on combat duty. It happened that no one changed us until the end of December. We sat in the forest waiting for a replacement,' he recalls.

The POW noted that the AFU command continues to send Ukrainians to slaughter sending untrained personnel to forward positions:
