Michigan Singer dies in Nevada

Former Northern Michigan Resident Ryan Whyte Maloney, has died. The singer died by suicide Tuesday, according to the coroner in Clark County, Nevada. Whyte Maloney grew up in Traverse City and was best known for competing on “The Voice” Season 6 as part of Team Blake. The cause of death was listed as a gunshot wound to the head.
