The Political Middle

America doesn’t react, it overreacts.

It’s a great quote.

I’ve heard it on both The Daily Show, and Bill Maher, and I agree with it.

Conservatives have to scream that there are only two genders, and liberals counter that there are 1,347.

And it’s that way with every single issue. So much so, I’m not going to get bogged down in specifics; I’ve listed another example in the video.

Point is, the place where both Republicans and Democrats come together is in the space where reality doesn’t exist.

There’s an enormous political middle getting ignored, because the fringes are so loud.

I’m not sure what can be done about it, but it’s put the country on a dangerous path.
