We are expected to believe a thousand page old book, filled with illogical rules and laws, unnecessary violence and torture, and ongoing accusations that somehow, there is something wrong with us. But hidden away in the caves of the ‘old world’ a series of gentle truths appear to be written. So gentle that the Church feared them enough to kill anyone who possessed them. One of them is the Secret Book of John, a Gnostic text, that speaks of how reality really began.
