2 Corinthians 17 Paul’s Replies to False Apostle’s Charges 10:1-18

SBC Family,

Do not lose hope, do not lose perseverance. Sometimes we grow tired. His grace is sufficient for even this.

Tonight we will shift gears. The 2nd epistle to the Corinthians takes a turn. Now we are looking at Paul defending his apostleship against the charges of those he calls “pseudo-apostles.” Wildly critical that we accept the authority of the apostolic writings. Like the Corinthians, without accepting the authority of the apostles writings we will be flighty and unable to stabilize and seduces by human opinions whether they be church fathers, philosophers, or intellectual elites. The ground of faith is the faith once for all delivered to the saints in the canon of Scripture and nothing else.
