Stacey Abrams: This is not new behavior. This is also the man who began or at least fomented very aggressively the trope about Barack Obama. So let, let's be clear, but this is not a bug. This is a feature because those who may not necessarily agree with Christian nationalism and may revile the notion of racial discrimination seem very comfortable with the possibility that they don't have to compete anymore if these communities and if these groups can't protest discrimination, because that's what they're saying. Republicans right now are helping make it safe to discriminate again, that is why Voting Rights Act was eviscerated. That is why the Dobbs decision, which disproportionately harms women's ability to enter the workforce, to get an education and to participate in elections because they do not have a voice in bodily autonomy, the reason they are attacking environmental justice.

Communities that are economically disadvantaged are seeking equity. So when they say they're only going after a narrow group, what they're telling us is that they are afraid to have to compete at the job site, at the at the election booth, and in education. And as long as Republicans are silent, as long as they don't stand up and say we believe in civil liberties and civil rights, then they are just as much at fault as Donald Trump. Cause my, my worry is if we bet, if we pin it on him, we excuse everyone else who let's him get away with it.
