On the occasion of the release in France of his latest book, 'The Russia House', Bernard Pivot welcomes John le Carré, a famous English author of spy novels who was, in his youth, an agent of the British secret services. To interview him and talk about his books, Pivot has also invited the journalist-filmmaker Philippe Labro, Catherine David, writer and journalist at the "Nouvel Observateur" and the American journalist Edward Behr.
The show is 'Apostrophes' on the French TV station Antenne 2. The interview took place on the 24th of November 1989.
There are English and French subtitles.
