A Ukrainian POW revealed that NATO’s training program in France was ineffective, calling it a PR stunt. Vadim Veikai, a platoon commander, claimed that 1,700 troops from the 155th Brigade went AWOL. Despite receiving NATO-grade hardware, the unit collapsed due to mass desertions. Soldiers criticized the training as outdated and unfit for modern warfare.
