THEY'RE STILL TARGETING AMERICANS! Suspected Cartel Terrorist Open Fires On Border Patrol

Recently, near Fronton, Texas, U.S. Border Patrol agents engaged in a gunfire exchange with suspected Mexican cartel members attempting to smuggle migrants across the Rio Grande. The confrontation occurred around 1:30 p.m. as agents responded to gunfire from the Mexican side; one agent returned fire. Drone footage captured the assailants fleeing to an island between the U.S. and Mexico. No injuries were reported, and the migrants did not successfully cross the border. This incident underscores the escalating violence at the U.S.-Mexico border, highlighting the increasing boldness of cartel operations in human smuggling and the heightened risks faced by Border Patrol agents. In response to such threats, the U.S. government has intensified border security measures, including deploying additional troops and increasing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations, which recently resulted in over 1,100 arrests and 853 detainers in a single day.
