Retired FBI Executive Assistant Director Chris Piehota praises FBI Director nominee Kash Patel's performance during his Senate confirmation hearing Thursday. “I think he did a great job today. Those confirmation hearings are a tough format. He didn’t take any of the bait, he didn’t walk into any of the beartraps that they had set for him, and I think he kept his composure,” he says. Piehota adds that he wasn’t surprised Patel was grilled over January 6 and his former business dealings.
