Cops Daughter Teresa Lee’s DUI Arrest Video Hit-and-Run on Police Bodycam! On December 28, 2022, around 11:00 PM, officers from the Howell Township Police Department responded to a hit-and-run accident on Lanes Mill Road near the side entrance to Lowes. A witness described a white sedan as the suspect vehicle, and officers soon located 21-year-old Teresa Lee and her damaged car at a Wawa on Kent Road.

When questioned, Teresa claimed she had been at Applebees and admitted to drinking but denied hitting the traffic light pole. She initially said the damage was from hitting a deer in Pennsylvania, but officers quickly realized her story did not match the evidence. When presented with a missing bumper piece from the scene that fit her car perfectly, she eventually admitted she may have hit the pole while texting.

Suspecting intoxication, officers conducted field sobriety tests, including the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus, Walk and Turn, and One Leg Stand tests. Teresa failed all three, showing poor coordination, an inability to follow instructions, and difficulty maintaining balance. Based on her performance and the physical evidence, officers placed her under arrest for driving under the influence.

At Howell Township Police Headquarters, Teresa provided breath samples, which showed a blood alcohol content of 0.172 percent, more than twice the legal limit. After further evaluation, she was issued multiple summonses, including driving under the influence, reckless driving, failure to report an accident, and leaving the scene of an accident.

This case highlights the dangers of impaired driving and the consequences of attempting to evade responsibility after an accident. Drunk driving puts everyone at risk, and failing to report a crash only increases the legal consequences.
