Xbox Game Pass is KILLING Gaming and Here's Why!

The Streaming Bubble has burst in Hollywood and total spending on the service was down nearly 25% in 2024. Netflix is the clear winner and Xbox is trying to be the gaming equivalent and treading water in an attempt to do so.

Game Pass might be a tremendous value for gamers, but it's a huge vanity project for Microsoft. The platform needs to triple in size by the end of the decade to meet its self imposed goal of 100 Million subscribers. That is just impossible and things will be changing. Price increases and tiered offerings are already on the way, but a balance can be struck to still offer value and be valuable. With the Xbox brand in massive flux, will Microsoft even be in the gaming business by 2030?
